

Shoptacle is a clothing store with variety of high end fashion items.
Create a website for a large clothing store with several stores all over the country shoptacle sells a large variety of designer clothing, designer shoes and accessories shoptacle wants a webshop as well. so they can maximize their offers and regulate their customers needs better, shoptacle wants you to design a way to easily search for clothes, shoes and accessories and place a new order on their webshop. They want the shopping experience to be smooth and efficient as possible for their customers to shop without any flaws.

After conducting a survey i got 26 replies and from those replies i highlighted the key frustrations that most users have with online shopping experience and from there we can create the user problem statement from the users point of view.
After discovering the problem statement, the website needs to be customized to suit the users needs and also show what the business stands for. First wee needed to identify what their target audience is which is the young demographic to mid 30s into luxury fashion.

Now that the target audience has been identified, we need to understand the users and their needs, i conducted a survey using google docs, now we are going to analyse these responses to be able to create user personas.


Gender
Most of the gender demographic where females more than male a 70/20 ratio while some users prefer not to say their gender.

Almost 55% were in their 20-30s while almost 12% were in their 30-40s.

I got responses from different parts of the world, Amsterdam, California, Germany, India, Lagos, Paris etc.

Some of the participants listed some websites they shop from.
Such as: Bohoo, Asos, sports direct H&M, Mango, Pull&bear, Hunkemoller, Zara, Shein, Zalando & Zalando, Prive.
Fears about shopping online
Not being able to get a refund
Wrong sizing, scam pages, delayed deliveries, bad customer service
Not getting what i ordered, being cheated
Receiving wrong orders, bad quality, poor quality, wrong fitting, Shipping prices. etc.

From the responses gathered i created two personas from two different countries to narrow down the user pain points and goals.



To be able to identify user problems efficiently i did some card sorting from the information gathered according to relevance. This will help me iterate solutions.
